These are way cool, Doll! Yet another piece, along with the Partridges etc., of a vanished world.

Our generation's nostalgia for the 1970s, which many of us approach with very mixed feelings, reminds me of something I read ages ago regarding the difference in olfactory memories for people born before and after World War II. The older folks responded most to natural smells, like that of freshly cut grass or of a wood fire, whereas Baby Boomers and those that followed were most responsive to the smell of Play-Doh, crayons, candy cigarettes, hairspray, etc.

I just made Kool-aide for my kids. Sometimes, they act like I used the package you show here instead. *Sigh* Now it's Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I miss the fun.
